As noted in this week’s module “Organizational ethics are headlines these daysfrom Kenneth Lay at Enron to Martha Stewart, more and more questions are being raised about the right actions for managers, and how unethical management actions affect employees and customers”.
You are to execute a search engine on unethical actions. These unethical actions must be executed within a business setting. This can include any of the disciplines within business (e.g. Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management & Marketing). An easy way to locate this type of publicity is to search viable news publications. I am not limiting you to a particular news preference or a specific action that you must locate. As long as the behavior clearly violates ethical considerations and has taken place in a business setting you may use as your specific incident. Once you have found your specific incident that is noted, please answer the following questions:
1. Summarize the occurrence in which you are discussing in this post.
2. Define the ethical issue(s).
3. List all consequences for all affected parties.
4. Address how the behavior violated organizations policy on ethics.
