I’m working on a public health question and need guidance to help me learn.
Hello, so this was the first step instructions and i want you to choose topic,
This course relies on a final project that you will develop through the semester. You will select a Public Health topic and related context (local, state, national, international) and then you will look at how public health informatics can help it. Therefore, you will meet with me in virtual office hours or at another time if needed for discussing and finalizing your choice.
A list of potential themes can be found at APHA Topics-and-Issues website. However, additional topics and arguments may be approved by your instructor.
and then you do the actual assignment which is the following :
We have discussed the focus of your course project in Module 1. Now it is time to dig a little bit deeper into it, keeping an eye on this modules materials. You will be asked to create a page or slide titled Topics description and history about your project with the following elements.
A) a description of the topic and possible related levels addressed (local, state, national, international) (at least 10 words).
B) a concise summary of what information systems are operating in the context of the topic and their history (at least 30 words).
C) possible relations with other informatics areas and fields (e.g., consumer health informatics, EHR) that you think may help in better understanding and framing the topic (at least 30 words).
You may wonder how you can find these materials, also considering that there will be 4 other entries related to your project. There are three main sources of information. First, in this course several contents are provided that can fit into your project scope. Second, search engines like Google Scholar is powerful tools for seeking the intel you need.
i have attached the rubric too, thank you and let me know if you have any questions
