Yeleiny- Understanding of the “nice” customer will help an organization acknowledge why a customer is not satisfied with the service/product provided to them and why they are not returning to the business environment. Learning to know a customers facial expression, body language, and behavior helps to improve customer service, which is essential in retaining clients. Understanding a client helps to find ways to ensure customers satisfaction through the service/product that is provided, to build customer loyalty, and to endorse the service/product to other clients. Most people spend their money on businesses that have excellent customer service, which increases the cash flow of the business and strengthens the brand image. When a “nice” customer is not recognized and therefore not understood, negative consequences can emerge for a business. In this case, they will leave, never return, and probably spread negative reviews to other potential customers affecting the business. Ensuring a customer is satisfied with the service/product can be possible by asking for feedback and embracing critic reviews that will help improve the customer service and product and, therefore , a successful business operation. A long time ago I was a ‘nice’ customer once, when I ordered jewelry, and the product was slightly different from what I envisioned. I never voiced my concerns, but after the second purchase, I just left and never purchased anything from them again. Their delivery service was also low, taking more time than expected. As a result, I never recommended the store to any of my friends or family members.

Dwayne – I’m sure we’ve all been to a restaurant where we didn’t like the service. I have definitely been the nice person before. These customers could help by leaving more feedback. From previous reviews, we can see that these customers leave and without any complaints, never return. I like to voice my complaint when at restaurants now if my service isn’t up to par, unlike in the past. I have realized that these reviews and small complaints do serve both the business as well as the customers. Since this is a place where you like to eat, it would only be fitting to inform them of your unsatisfactory service and how you can create a better experience for them the next time they are eating there. Some will maybe not like your message, but the overall goal of a restaurant is to prepare food and a dining environment that satisfies the customer, thus satisfying the community as a whole. “Nice” customers are great but not so pleasant when they leave, only to never return or just to have them tell their friends never to eat there. These are not the kinds of reviews any business wants and certainly not in the food industry. Learn to understand these customers. Always ask your customers if things are going well. If there is anything you can do to accomodate them better. The list is endless. Just make sure you can spot these customers and try to get them to supply any kind of feedback, which is always going to be important now and for the future of the business.
