I’m working on a Law question and need guidance to help me study.
I have created 2 case studies already, all you would have to do is make the third one and then combine the three into a summary as the assignment states. Summaries A, & B are below.
Develop a criminal justice case study that involves the need for an intervention. Include enough detail in your hypothetical case study that you could create a behavior plan based on the information provided.
Outline a behavior plan based on the scenario received
Create a 5-7 slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation with detailed speaker notes that highlight the scenarios, behavior plans. Use complete sentences, with correct grammar and punctuation, to fully explain each slide as if you were giving an in-person presentation.
Include the following in your presentation:
- Summary of scenarios
- Summary of behavior plans
- Summary of discussion highlights
- Reflections on the process of creating behavior plans
Format your presentation consistent with APA guidelines.
NO MAJOR GRAMMAR ISSUES
Case Study A:
Johnny B. is a 27-year-old male who works at the local market. He has a history of theft and other petty crimes and has been sentenced to jail time twice, as a juvenile and as an adult. When Johnny was younger his father was in and out of prison, so it was routinely just him, his two younger siblings, and his mother. Johnny was often looked to and relied upon by his mother and two siblings because he was the oldest.
Johnny was recently caught by his employer, stealing inventory off the shelves. He is being charged with theft again. As a part of his sentencing, the courts are requiring him to complete at least 8 counseling sessions and 500 hours of community service.
Hopefully, during the sessions, he will be able to express why he still feels the need to take from others, even when he does not need to.
Case Study B:
Tammy is a 56-year-old female that has been locked up most of her life. Tammy just started working at Walmart for about three months. Tammy has of history of not telling the truth or talking about her past, due to when she was young her older brother sexually assaulted her and her mother told her for years to never talk about it or she would get in big trouble. Tammy has used heroin and crack cocaine off and on every time she comes home from jail. Tammy has never been able to have a healthy relationship with men.
Tammy was fired from her job at Walmart, due to she lied on the application. Tammy gave dirty urine and received a violation and was sent to reside at a Halfway House for eight months. Tammy’s court order was that she was to complete a 90 days outpatient drug program while in the Halfway House and if she gives another negative test she will go back to prison and do all her back up time in jail.
