Question Description
I’m working on a history multi-part question and need a sample draft to help me study.
Include the below three components in your bibliography.1) Provide a revised explanation of your topic in a brief introductory paragraph of 3-4sentences. This brief paragraph should explain what your topic is and what your centralresearch question(s) will be.
Identify the historical feminist topic you plan to explore, and explain the basic who, what, where, when of your topic. Make sure you are being specific enough in both your topic and researchquestion(s) so that it will be a doable project. Being specific might mean narrowing your topic insome ways. For instance, if youre interested in histories of reproductive justice or LGBTQactivism, focus on one of those issues in a specific time period and specific place, home in on aspecific debate, or explore a key person and/or event. The goal is for you to really sink your teethinto your topics.
We will be looking to see that your research question/topic is clearly defined and specificenough, and that the sources you have chosen look like they will help answer your researchquestion.2) List 3 primary sources alphabetically and with annotations3) List 4 secondary sources alphabetically with annotationsIn 2) and 3), for each source, provide an annotation of at least 3-4 sentences to explain whatinformation the source includes.
Annotations should be in the Chicago style bibliography format. (If you have questions aboutChicago format, see HOW TO CITE SOURCES under HANDOUTS on our CCLE page.) Besure to also explain how that specific source will help you answer the research question thatyou included in 1.
