Step 1 Research : using your own states Early Learning Guidelines/Standards find the section devoted to Approaches to Play and Learning. If your state does not have Early Learning Guidelines/Standards or doesn’t have information specific to Approaches to Play and Learning, you can use this link to find one that does. ******my state is FLORIDA .Y
you may also use the following learning goals as provided in the North Carolina Foundations of Early Learning and Development (p.29):
Approaches to Play and Learning Goals:

Once you had a chance to read about the learning domains, you will need to summarize the overall domain Approaches to Play and Learning, as well as describe each sub-domain.
Step 2 – View the Videatives
Go to the Videatives Streaming Service and watch one video clip per age group (infants, toddlers, twos, threes, fours, and fives).
Login with the following credentials: Password and Username is rasmussen
For each video (6 total) use the goals/standards in your states Early Learning Guidelines/Standards(see above step 1). Answer the following:
- Provide title of video
- Write a brief observation of what you witness in the video
- Identify the approach to play and learning goals that the child(ren) were exhibiting. If there is more than one, please include all you witness. Describe how you know.
- Choose one goal and write one learning objective that would match what you saw happening in the video to facilitate reaching the chosen goal.
